The Sky Lake – Highland Lakes Area Neighborhood Association is a voluntary membership organization. The mission of the association is : To promote the quality of life for residents through advocacy, community and volunteerism.
The majority of the residents within our boundaries live in unincorporated Miami-Dade County and because we are not located within a “city” the homeowners association is the tool that we have used to communicate to our elected officials as a voice for the community. When residents have concerns they can contact the homeowners association to receive further information on the best way to address the issue.

You will receive email bulletins throughout the year informing you of meetings, events or other information about what is going on in your community. This is especially helpful when you don’t have students in the public schools in the neighborhood as a lot of information is received through the schools. You are also showing your support for all of the volunteers that give countless hours to keeping up the quality of life in the different neighborhoods that make up our community. Joining the association also gives you a place to go when you have an area or topic you feel passionate about that you would like a committee to pursue.
A resident should go to the tab called Our Association and click on Membership. At the bottom of the page click on the membership form to get the application and mailing instructions. Membership is $30.00 per calendar year.
